Peer Mannel vs Diedrick Gepner

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Hamburg promoted show at Rainor Strombeck Gym, Hamburg,  taking place on 20/12/2027:

Clearly AI Germany-Hamburg have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Hamburg Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peer Mannel (4(2) - 1(1)) who hails from Hamburg, Germany and Diedrick Gepner(7 - 14(1) - 3) from Hamburg, Germany.  Both Mannel and Gepner weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steinmetz Blank, and the three ringside judges are Willaperht Pfisterer, Coen Mayers and Louis Heit.  

Round 1: 

Mannel is on target with a left hook to Gepner's liver.  Mannel tries to land a right hook, but Gepner sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mannel switches the action to the outside and lands a cross, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.

Mannel lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.

Gepner throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mannel steps to the outside and lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Mannel advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Gepner quickly recovers. 
Mannel tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Mannel lands two straights to the body, and one to the head.  
Mannel steps away from his opponent.  Mannel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Gepner is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gepner's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Gepner's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Mannel hits home with a right hook.  Mannel clinches his opponent.  Gepner pushes his forearm into Mannel's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gepner gets on the inside.  Gepner quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gepner has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Mannel lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Mannel tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Mannel hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Mannel closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES GEPNER!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.
