Akira Arai vs Nao Taniguchi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Jun Orio Gym, Kasugai,  taking place on 22/11/2027:

Clearly AI Japan-Aichi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akira Arai (6 - 12 - 4) who hails from Ichinomiya, Japan and Nao Taniguchi(18 - 9 - 2) from Kasugai, Japan.  Both Arai and Taniguchi weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daiki Onishi, and the three ringside judges are Hiro Taketa, Hiro Hirabayashi and Yasushi Jin.  

Round 1: 

Taniguchi advances into close range and lands a left hook.
