Diego Morataya vs Rodrigo Pizarro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Bulacan promoted show at San Jose del Monte Cedillo, San Jose del Monte,  taking place on 20/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Bulacan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Morataya (12 - 13 - 4) who hails from Santa Maria, Philippines and Rodrigo Pizarro(10 - 13 - 3) from Malolos, Philippines.  Both Morataya and Pizarro weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emilio Macalintal, and the three ringside judges are Jesus Bacallao, Francisco Celeste and Montego Villalon.  

Round 1: 

Pizarro closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Morataya dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Morataya is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Pizarro closes the distance.  Morataya is on target with a left uppercut.  
Pizarro walks his opponent into a corner.  Pizarro hits home with a right hook.  Pizarro attempts to land a right hook, but Morataya blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Morataya pivots to the left of his opponent.  Morataya lands a left uppercut.  Morataya throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
