Jun Shimomura vs Eiji Oye

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Ota-City General Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 08/01/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jun Shimomura (21 - 6 - 2) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Eiji Oye(5 - 4(1) - 1) from Toyota, Japan.  Shimomura weighed in at 243 pounds and 15 ounces, while Oye weighed in at 246 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Onaga, and the three ringside judges are Kaede Toyama, Hikaru Nakamura and Kyo Tsutsumi.
