Akira Nakamura vs Goro Shiba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 23/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akira Nakamura (11 - 13 - 5) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Goro Shiba(9 - 9 - 3) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Nakamura and Shiba weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Yoshikawa, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Matsui, Mikio Yasuda and Taro Jo.  

Round 1: 

Shiba goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Nakamura time to recover.
