Ryuu Mihara vs Shin Konishi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Ota-City General Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 08/01/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryuu Mihara (14 - 12 - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Shin Konishi(13 - 8 - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Mihara and Konishi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Nakamura, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Tsutsumi, Kaede Toyama and Hikaru Onaga.  

Round 1: 

Konishi walks his opponent into a corner.  As Konishi tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mihara dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Konishi is on target with a left hook to Mihara's body.
