Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Koelnmesse, Cologne,  taking place on 15/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Odhert Gehrmann (11(6) - 0) who hails from Regensburg, Germany and Kyland Gerst(5 - 3) from Hamburg, Germany.  Gehrmann weighed in at 129 pounds and 8 ounces, while Gerst weighed in at 129 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Werner Arn, and the three ringside judges are Alarick Gause, Roch Geitner and Ulz Manzer.

Gehrmann lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand right to the head, AND SENDS GERST TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Gehrmann sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Gerst tries to land a jab, but Gehrmann slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gehrmann lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Gerst almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gerst hits home with a sharp jab.  
Gehrmann sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Gehrmann is looking to keep his distance.  Gehrmann senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Gehrmann lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING GERST DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Gehrmann is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Gerst on the ropes.  Gehrmann lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS GERST TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Gerst has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Gehrmann steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS GERST DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Gehrmann!
