Steven Chepchirchir vs Jayvyn Sabulei

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Odhieng, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Chepchirchir (17 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Jayvyn Sabulei(12 - 6 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Chepchirchir weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Sabulei weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Mwirichia, and the three ringside judges are LeBron Naikuni, Scott Merande and Bob Mbiyu.
