Takeo Teruya vs Meril Kugel

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Korakuen Hall, Tokyo,  taking place on 01/01/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Takeo Teruya (8 - 0) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Meril Kugel(11 - 13(1) - 3 - 1(NC)) from Berlin, Germany.  Both Teruya and Kugel weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dai Ishikawa, and the three ringside judges are Isamu Nonaka, Eiji Mizuno and Hajime Kubota.  

Round 1: 

Teruya gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.
