Azam Ahsan vs Farhan Bacchus

Boxing Daily Report from the Sultan's Fists promoted show at Shah Alam Convection Centre, Shah Alam,  taking place on 15/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Azam Ahsan (3(1) - 0) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Farhan Bacchus(4 - 6 - 1) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Both Ahsan and Bacchus weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Atif Awan, and the three ringside judges are Zafa Othman, Haider Nasr and Aftab Gad.  

Round 1: 

Ahsan is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Ahsan digs in a left uppercut to Bacchus's liver.  
Ahsan closes the distance and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Ahsan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ahsan pushes his forearm into Bacchus's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ahsan.  
Ahsan gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Bacchus's body.  Ahsan ties up his opponent.  Ahsan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ahsan lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Ahsan clinches his opponent.  Ahsan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ahsan closes the distance.  Ahsan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ahsan lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Ahsan clinches his opponent.  Ahsan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bacchus is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ahsan gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Ahsan clinches his opponent.  Ahsan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ahsan.  
Ahsan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ahsan manages to force Bacchus into a neutral corner.  Ahsan lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Ahsan advances into close range.  Bacchus sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bacchus throws a left uppercut, but Ahsan ties up his opponent.  Ahsan throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ahsan is on target with a left uppercut.  
Bacchus is on target with a cross.  
Ahsan advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Ahsan connects with a right hook.  
Ahsan is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ahsan lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ahsan drives a firm left hook into Bacchus's liver.  Ahsan clinches his opponent.  Ahsan uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Bacchus's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ahsan about fouling.

Ahsan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ahsan lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ahsan forces Bacchus to retreat into a corner.  Ahsan lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
As Bacchus tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ahsan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ahsan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bacchus attempts to land a cross, but Ahsan sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bacchus's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Bacchus's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Ahsan gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ahsan lands a jab.  
Ahsan gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ahsan lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ahsan steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Bacchus almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ahsan advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Ahsan clinches his opponent.  Ahsan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Ahsan to stop holding.  
Ahsan connects with a right hook.  
Ahsan walks his opponent into the red corner.  Ahsan lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ahsan is on target with a solid right uppercut to Bacchus's body.  
Ahsan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Ahsan is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Ahsan lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND DROPS BACCHUS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Bacchus now seems to have his senses back.

Ahsan steps inside and lands a HUGE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE BACCHUS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ahsan stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Ahsan SLAMS a MASSIVE left hook into his opponents face.  BACCHUS IS DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT BACCHUS IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Ahsan!
