Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 24/12/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richie Strother (9 - 5 - 3) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Rob Samuel(13 - 3 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Strother and Samuel weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Pera, and the three ringside judges are Kahorere Keno, Tobias Vert and Michael Breck.
