Carlos Hanopol vs Pedro Laygo

Boxing Daily Report from the Omaboe Promotions promoted show at Sagaz Rivero Gym, Cainta,  taking place on 28/11/2027:

Clearly Omaboe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Rizal Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Hanopol (6 - 13 - 4) who hails from Rodriguez, Philippines and Pedro Laygo(15 - 4) from Antipolo, Philippines.  Both Hanopol and Laygo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nick Caga-anan, and the three ringside judges are Pablo Pomales, Santiago Perales and Joaquin Boljoon.  

Round 1: 

Laygo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Laygo steps inside.  Laygo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into Hanopol's body.
