Tobias Steele vs Eteka Kahu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Beall, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/12/2027:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Canterbury have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Canterbury Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tobias Steele (14 - 5 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Eteka Kahu(13 - 8) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Steele and Kahu weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kahorere Keno, and the three ringside judges are Paul Moad, Ikei Kahu and Noel Haxton.  

Round 1: 

Kahu advances into close range.  Steele pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kahu goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Steele time to recover.
