Segun Azikiwe vs Shehu Eseme

Boxing Daily Report from the Chileshe Promotions promoted show at Nigeria-Edo State Gym, Benin City,  taking place on 27/12/2027:

Clearly Chileshe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Edo State Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Segun Azikiwe (7 - 4) who hails from Benin City, Nigeria and Shehu Eseme(3 - 7 - 3) from Benin City, Nigeria.  Both Azikiwe and Eseme weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Beete, and the three ringside judges are Ike Elegbede, Emem Obiorah and Amer Halaby.  

Round 1: 

Azikiwe is on target with a cross.  
Azikiwe closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Azikiwe holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Azikiwe pushes his forearm into Eseme's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Azikiwe to stop fouling.
