Jamie Mungle vs Chris Huntley

Boxing Daily Report from the T5 Promotions promoted show at Auckland Ghant, Auckland,  taking place on 27/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jamie Mungle (15 - 9) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Chris Huntley(15 - 7 - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Mungle and Huntley weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd Rease, and the three ringside judges are George Brain, Justin Patariki and Ian Skene.  

Round 1: 

Huntley closes the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Huntley lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Huntley ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Huntley pushes his forearm into Mungle's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Huntley lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Huntley holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Huntley walks his opponent into the corner.  Huntley sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Huntley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Huntley closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  Huntley ties up his opponent.  Huntley is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Huntley steps inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Huntley lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Mungle throws a right uppercut, but Huntley ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Huntley pushes his forearm into Mungle's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Mungle is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
