Peter Clay vs Bryan MacIsaac

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 22/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Clay (9(1) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Bryan MacIsaac(17(2) - 7(3)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Clay and MacIsaac weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Deasmhumhain, and the three ringside judges are Tobias Bruce, Brendan Moultrie and Ewan Duffy.  

Round 1: 

MacIsaac lands a cross.  
Clay gets on the inside.  MacIsaac throws a right hook, but Clay clinches his opponent.  Clay pushes his forearm into MacIsaac's face.  The referee warns Clay and breaks the clinch.
