Georgiy Novosad vs Gennady Yurkov

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbalula Promotions promoted show at Yekaterinburg Osipov, Yekaterinburg,  taking place on 30/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia-Sverdlovsk Oblast Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Georgiy Novosad (23(1) - 2) who hails from Yekaterinburg, Russia and Gennady Yurkov(12(1) - 0) from Nizhny Tagil, Russia.  Novosad weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces, while Yurkov weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.
