Verlyn Udoma vs Danny Kirumira

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson Promotions promoted show at Kampala Sewankambo, Kampala,  taking place on 02/12/2027:

Clearly Kit Henderson Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Verlyn Udoma (11 - 5 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Danny Kirumira(8 - 10(1)) from Kampala, Uganda.  Udoma weighed in at 154 pounds, while Kirumira weighed in at 153 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dale Kayonga, and the three ringside judges are Keshawn Wamala, Naeem Kabuye and Shontae Batuma.  

Round 1: 

Udoma advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Udoma ties up his opponent.  Udoma is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Udoma to stop fouling.  
Kirumira pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kirumira throws a left hook, but Udoma clinches his opponent.  Udoma leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Udoma is looking to close the distance and forces Kirumira to back into a corner.  Udoma quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
