Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Maiduguri Halim, Maiduguri,  taking place on 26/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Akinmunde (9(6) - 0 - 1) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Obaid Yousuf(17 - 3(1) - 4) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Akinmunde weighed in at 199 pounds and 7 ounces, while Yousuf weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theophilus Aliu, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Shariff, Mohsin Kassem and Thompson Ezenwaka.
