Zacarias Ciervo vs Cortez Gil

Boxing Daily Report from the Dumashie Promotions promoted show at Barquisimeto Conde, Barquisimeto,  taking place on 02/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Lara Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zacarias Ciervo (17 - 1) who hails from Barquisimeto, Venezuela and Cortez Gil(14 - 10 - 2) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Ciervo weighed in at 111 pounds and 14 ounces, while Gil weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Alviar, and the three ringside judges are Diego Urbano, Montel Miera and Rafael Buelna.
