Zareb Sikatana vs Naeem Janza

Boxing Daily Report from the Sangweni Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Imboela, Lusaka,  taking place on 31/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zambia-Lusaka Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zareb Sikatana (4(1) - 0) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Naeem Janza(7 - 12) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Sikatana and Janza weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wayne Chimuka, and the three ringside judges are Rashon Mwanawasa, Floyd Mubu and Ibeamaka Urbano.  

Round 1: 

Sikatana steps inside.  Sikatana quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sikatana is on target with a stinging left hook.  Sikatana ties up his opponent.  Sikatana is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Janza throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sikatana lands a firm left hook.  
Sikatana hits home with a solid cross.  
Sikatana advances into close range and drives a right uppercut into Janza's ribs.  Sikatana holds on to his opponent.  Sikatana is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sikatana throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Sikatana clinches his opponent.  Sikatana pushes his forearm into Janza's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sikatana.  
Sikatana hits home with a solid right hook.  
Sikatana steps inside and SLAMS a mean left uppercut into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE JANZA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Janza quickly recovers. 
Sikatana connects with a right hook.  
Sikatana walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Sikatana lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sikatana gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Sikatana tries to land a jab, but Janza parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sikatana is looking to close the distance and DETONATES a BRUTAL left uppercut on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE JANZA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Sikatana advances into close range.  Sikatana knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Sikatana lands a left hook to the head, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two straights followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  It looks like Janza has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Sikatana finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Janza steps to the outside.  Sikatana feints a jab, tricking Janza into launching a left uppercut counter.  Sikatana springs the trap, countering with  a SAVAGE right hook.  JANZA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Janza quickly recovers. 
Sikatana is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sikatana lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES JANZA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Janza quickly recovers. 
Sikatana lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Janza's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Janza's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Janza's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Sikatana steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Sikatana holds on to his opponent.  Sikatana leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sikatana connects with a left hook.  Sikatana holds on to his opponent.  Sikatana leans on his opponent using all his weight. Sikatana throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Sikatana's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sikatana lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Sikatana advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sikatana feints a cross, and then hits home with a stinging jab.
