Lemme Tancquere vs Mark Van der Straeten

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Pavillon de Juenesse, Quebec City,  taking place on 22/01/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lemme Tancquere (5(3) - 0) who hails from Rotterdam, Netherlands and Mark Van der Straeten(10 - 11 - 2) from The Hague, Netherlands.  Both Tancquere and Van der Straeten weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Prior, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Hathorne, Aaron Henry and Granger Hinault.  

Round 1: 

Tancquere steps away from his opponent.  Tancquere feints a right, and then lands an overhand right, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tancquere dabs at his face checking for damage.

Tancquere crashes a mean left hook to Van der Straeten's ribs.  VAN DER STRAETEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Van der Straeten has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Tancquere switches the action to the outside and is on target with a FIERCE overhand left.  VAN DER STRAETEN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Tancquere!
