Rex Dalton vs Ewan Clewis

Boxing Daily Report from the Boxing Outlaws promoted show at Route 66 Casino, Albuquerque,  taking place on 15/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are T Rex Dalton (14 - 0) who hails from Albuquerque, USA and Ewan Clewis(11 - 6 - 4) from Dallas, USA.  Both Dalton and Clewis weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gus Maddix, and the three ringside judges are Kris Lorimer, Gus Maddix and Rob Guerrero.  

Round 1: 

Clewis drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Dalton advances into close range.  Dalton pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.

Dalton drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Clewis dabs at his face checking for damage.

Dalton connects with a left hook.  As Clewis tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Dalton has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
