Rahul Khaparde vs Gregor Njue

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Murungaru, Nairobi,  taking place on 04/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rahul Khaparde (17(1) - 3(1) - 1) who hails from New Delhi, India and Gregor Njue(12 - 8(4) - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Khaparde weighed in at 168 pounds, while Njue weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Konchellah, and the three ringside judges are Rex Odhieng, Shaun Arusei and Joe Mwirichia.
