Dillon Mulla vs Sergey Kusheckow

Boxing Daily Report from the Donnelly Boxing promoted show at Lusaka Mbale, Lusaka,  taking place on 27/02/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dillon Mulla (21(10) - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Sergey Kusheckow(18 - 3 - 4 - 1(NC)) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  Both Mulla and Kusheckow weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Shona, and the three ringside judges are Voshon Nchelenge, Nwa Hamabilo and Floyd Mubu.  

Round 1: 

Mulla gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  Mulla clinches his opponent.  Mulla is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Mulla and breaks the clinch.  
Kusheckow tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mulla cuts off the ring, trapping Kusheckow on the ropes.  Mulla lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mulla slams a mean left hook into his opponents body.  KUSHECKOW WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mulla clinches his opponent.  Mulla tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kusheckow behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  Kusheckow almost instantly recovers. 
Mulla lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Mulla digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Mulla whips in a spiteful right uppercut to Kusheckow's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE KUSHECKOW WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kusheckow recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mulla gets on the inside and connects with a firm left hook.  
Mulla hits home with a solid right hook.  
Mulla hits home with a firm left uppercut.  Mulla clinches his opponent.  Mulla pushes his forearm into Kusheckow's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mulla to stop fouling.  
Mulla gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kusheckow recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mulla lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mulla advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Kusheckow sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mulla hits home with a cross.  
Mulla steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Mulla advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Mulla ties up his opponent.  Mulla is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Mulla's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mulla is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Kusheckow could be stopped here, if Mulla can find the right shot!  Mulla is on target with a telling right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  KUSHECKOW IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Mulla crashes a spiteful left uppercut to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES KUSHECKOW!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Mulla is looking to close the distance.  Mulla lands a cross to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body, AND SENDS KUSHECKOW TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like Kusheckow has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kusheckow pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mulla digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kusheckow's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kusheckow's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Mulla lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mulla drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Mulla hits home with a sharp cross.  
Mulla closes the distance and digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  Mulla holds on to his opponent.  Mulla tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kusheckow's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  Mulla attempts to land a right uppercut, but Kusheckow parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mulla digs in a right uppercut to Kusheckow's body.  
Mulla tries to land a cross, but Kusheckow slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mulla lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Mulla ties up his opponent.  Mulla leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mulla pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Mulla lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS KUSHECKOW TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Mulla!
