Waqas Basher vs Shayan Saleh

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Dubai promoted show at Azam Malick Gym, Dubai,  taking place on 06/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the UAE Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Abu Dhabi Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqas Basher (13 - 6(4)) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Shayan Saleh(12 - 1) from Sharjah, UAE.  Basher weighed in at 243 pounds and 7 ounces, while Saleh weighed in at 239 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Elshennawi, and the three ringside judges are Waqas Rahaim, Kamran Basri and Ali Ayub.
