Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at TFI Bombay, Mumbai,  taking place on 12/01/2028:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ibrahim Abdallah (2 - 0 - 1) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Imran Safi(0 - 1) from Jaipur, India.  Abdallah weighed in at 122 pounds, while Safi weighed in at 121 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Darshan Devshah, and the three ringside judges are Kishore Dadwal, Zuffur Diab and Premnath Arya.  

Round 1:

Safi voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Abdallah steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Abdallah lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Abdallah closes the distance and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  Abdallah ties up his opponent.  Abdallah is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Abdallah tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Safi behind the head. 
Safi switches the action to the outside.  Abdallah connects with a cross.  Abdallah tries to land a cross, but Safi dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Abdallah's liver.  
Abdallah closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  Abdallah ties up his opponent.  Abdallah leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Abdallah's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Safi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Abdallah connects with an overhand left.  
Abdallah sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Safi throws a right hook, but Abdallah clinches his opponent.  Abdallah leans on his opponent using all his weight. Abdallah hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch.

Safi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Abdallah lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Abdallah finds the target with a jab.  
Abdallah lands a cross.  
Abdallah steps inside and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Abdallah digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Abdallah throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  Abdallah ties up his opponent.  Abdallah is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Abdallah to stop holding.  
Abdallah hits home with a solid left hook.  
Safi steps to the outside.  Abdallah hits home with a cross.  
Abdallah steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Abdallah lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Abdallah lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Safi has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Abdallah closes the distance.  Abdallah pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Abdallah lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Abdallah closes the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Abdallah closes the distance and tries to land a right hook, but Safi blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Abdallah lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Abdallah gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Abdallah drives a weighty right hook into Safi's ribs.  SAFI IS HURT!  
Abdallah is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Abdallah lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, KNOCKING SAFI DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Safi is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Abdallah!
