Jawad Salam vs Amer Mahdi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Baku Baghirov, Baku,  taking place on 14/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jawad Salam (15(1) - 1 - 2) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Amer Mahdi(9 - 7 - 2) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Salam weighed in at 121 pounds and 13 ounces, while Mahdi weighed in at 121 pounds and 4 ounces.
