Alarik Ankelo vs Yrjo Laurikko

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Pirkanmaa promoted show at Nyyrikki Selin Gym, Tampere,  taking place on 19/12/2027:

Clearly AI Finland-Pirkanmaa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Finland-Pirkanmaa Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alarik Ankelo (9 - 10 - 1) who hails from Tampere, Finland and Yrjo Laurikko(5 - 13 - 4) from Tampere, Finland.  Ankelo weighed in at 237 pounds and 9 ounces, while Laurikko weighed in at 232 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aarre Aromaa, and the three ringside judges are Aleksanteri Saari, Jami Lemminkainen and Eerikki Vuorio.  

Round 1:

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ankelo's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Ankelo's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Laurikko's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Laurikko quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Laurikko throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ankelo closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.
