Jay Morrice vs Floyd Balfour

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at House of Blues, Boston,  taking place on 22/01/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Morrice (8 - 0) who hails from Lowell, USA and Floyd Balfour(0 - 4) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Morrice and Balfour weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Sproule, and the three ringside judges are Sam Evans, Oliver McCleese and Hugh Hier.  

Round 1: 

Morrice steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
