Alvino Sabedra vs Jax Curiel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Marco Ventura Gym, Manta,  taking place on 18/01/2028:

Clearly AI Ecuador-Manabi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alvino Sabedra (12 - 4 - 5) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Jax Curiel(8 - 9 - 2) from Manta, Ecuador.  Both Sabedra and Curiel weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Truan, and the three ringside judges are Manny Santiesteban, Rio Lona and Vidal Banos.  

Round 1: 

Curiel closes the distance.  Sabedra pivots to the side of his opponent.  Curiel tries to land a left hook, but Sabedra slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Curiel drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Sabedra lands a right hook.  
Sabedra lands a cross.  
Sabedra connects with a left hook.  
Sabedra is on target with a left uppercut.

Curiel steps away from his opponent and throws an overhand right, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Curiel's body.
