Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Danga Bay Convention Centre, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 26/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rehan Salame (8(4) - 0) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Damodar Batta(8 - 13 - 2) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Salame weighed in at 111 pounds And 13 ounces, while Batta weighed in at 111 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Farhan Younis, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Shariff, Shayan Hossain and Khalid Lodhi.  

Round 1:

Batta steps inside.  Salame lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Batta walks Salame down, trapping him in the corner.  Batta pivots from in front of his opponent.  Salame drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Salame is looking to keep his distance and connects with a nasty cross.  BATTA IS HURT!  
Salame stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Salame lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS BATTA!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Salame!
