Lorcan Buckley vs Harvey McQueen

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at Aviva Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 29/01/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Irish Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lorcan Buckley (22(4) - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Waterford, Ireland and Harvey McQueen(7 - 1 - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Buckley weighed in at 125 pounds and 8 ounces, while McQueen weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carl Lyons, and the three ringside judges are Ross Gauld, Jason Farrell and Ronan Murphy.  

Round 1: 

Buckley feints a jab, and then is on target with a right hook to McQueen's ribs.

Some sustained pressure from Buckley could be enough to finish McQueen!  Buckley lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS MCQUEEN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Buckley manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Buckley thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put McQueen away.  Buckley crashes a nasty left hook to McQueen's body.  MCQUEEN IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Buckley!
