Hajime Okimoto vs Hiroki Higuchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Koranteng Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Muraoka, Sapporo,  taking place on 23/12/2027:

Clearly Koranteng Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Okimoto (22(2) - 1) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Hiroki Higuchi(10 - 6 - 3) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Okimoto and Higuchi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daichi Hirayama, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Tanabe, Yuichi Sano and Raiden Takamoto.  

Round 1: 

Okimoto steps inside and is on target with a solid right hook to Higuchi's ribcage.  Okimoto clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Okimoto pushes his forearm into Higuchi's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Okimoto to stop fouling.
