Paul Elder vs Vince Rafferty

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Hall, Sydney,  taking place on 23/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-New South Wales Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Elder (8(1) - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Vince Rafferty(13(4) - 0) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Elder and Rafferty weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Mescall, and the three ringside judges are James Finocchiaro, Jack Tripi and Jordan Duane.

Elder feints a left, and then is on target with a cross to his opponents body.

Elder switches the action to the outside and is on target with a spiteful jab.  Elder throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rafferty is looking to close the distance and walks Elder onto the ropes.  Rafferty lands a left uppercut.  
Rafferty lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND KNOCKS ELDER DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Elder recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rafferty lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Rafferty gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Elder's body.  
Rafferty pivots from in front of his opponent.  Elder connects with a stinging right hook.  
Rafferty closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Elder steps away from his opponent and lands a hard jab.
