Jiro Kamei vs Aoi Kubota

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Osaka Miyoshi, Osaka,  taking place on 21/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jiro Kamei (13 - 10 - 4) who hails from Suita, Japan and Aoi Kubota(9 - 5(1) - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Kamei weighed in at 111 pounds and 12 ounces, while Kubota weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daichi Koga, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Shiba, Daiki Aoki and Kenji Tamura.  

Round 1: 

Kubota closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Kamei in a neutral corner.  Kubota goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Kamei's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kubota pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.
