Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-East Azerbaijan promoted show at Tabriz Abad, Tabriz,  taking place on 22/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Iran Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqas Saladin (18 - 0) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Gazi Ismael(11 - 5 - 2) from Tabriz, Iran.  Saladin weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces, while Ismael weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Sharif, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Galla, Shayan Sharif and Shayan Galla.  

Round 1: 

Saladin lands a left uppercut.
