Rabiu Akpovi vs Segun Asmau

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Oyo State promoted show at Olufemi Atulewa Gym, Oyo,  taking place on 27/12/2027:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Oyo State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Oyo State Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rabiu Akpovi (11 - 10(2) - 2) who hails from Ogbomosho, Nigeria and Segun Asmau(4 - 2 - 1) from Oyo, Nigeria.  Akpovi weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Asmau weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Atatalo, and the three ringside judges are Brown Mamudu, Chigozie Fregene and Juwon Ogunro.
