Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Hipodromo Caliente, Tijuana,  taking place on 29/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramirez Cuba (14(1) - 1) who hails from Guadalajara, Mexico and Gig Medina(14 - 7 - 3 - 1(NC)) from Tlalnepantla, Mexico.  Both Cuba and Medina weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Toribio, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Cornejo, Santiago Ponce and Alejandro Lares.

You can sense the frustration from Medina now.   He steps inside, but then strikes Cuba with a blatant low blow!  The ref tells Medina to keep his punches above the belt.  He gives Cuba time to recover.

Cuba steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
You can sense Medina is getting frustrated in there.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed well below the belt! The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.
