Colin Nyamau vs Charles Irungu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Chesoni, Mombasa,  taking place on 24/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Colin Nyamau (19(12) - 9(5)) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Charles Irungu(14 - 4(2) - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Nyamau and Irungu weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Badini, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Magwanga, Jay Matiku and Nwa Lugano.  

Round 1: 

Nyamau advances into close range and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.
