Santiago Tallon vs Alejandro Malo

Boxing Daily Report from the Yeray Heras promoted show at Guadalupe Matalon, Guadalupe,  taking place on 26/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Tallon (23(16) - 1(1)) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Alejandro Malo(20 - 2) from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico.  Both Tallon and Malo weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Benavente, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Andino, Miguel Nazario and Rodrigo Salamanca.
