Alejandro Limones vs Lorenzo Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Estadio Independecia, Managua,  taking place on 04/03/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Alejandro Limones (6(3) - 0) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Lorenzo Diaz(11 - 7 - 2) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Limones and Diaz weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aimon Cortinas, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Mazo, Alvino Albo and Carlos Delgado.  

Round 1: 

Limones is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Limones clinches his opponent.  Limones is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Limones.  
Limones steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Limones ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Limones's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Limones connects with a solid cross.  Limones attempts to land a right hook, but Diaz blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Limones closes the distance.  Limones pivots from in front of his opponent.  Limones lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Limones clinches his opponent.  Diaz leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Limones's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Limones lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Limones throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Diaz throws a right uppercut, but Limones holds on to his opponent.  Limones is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Limones to stop holding.

Limones advances into close range.  Diaz could be stopped here, if Limones can find the right shot!  Limones lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DIAZ IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Limones!
