Amand Rossouw vs Xayvion Patosi

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Nasrec Indoor Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 29/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Amand Rossouw (5 - 0) who hails from Durban, South Africa and Xayvion Patosi(0 - 0) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Rossouw and Patosi weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lemme Van der Linde, and the three ringside judges are Uba Akamenya, William Ekstein and Mzikayise Tlolane.  

Round 1: 

Rossouw pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right hook into Patosi's body.  
Rossouw lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Patosi is on target with a right uppercut.  
Rossouw closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Rossouw lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Rossouw pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Rossouw sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Rossouw pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Rossouw digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Rossouw retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Patosi steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Patosi gets on the inside.  Rossouw digs in a right hook to Patosi's body.  
Rossouw drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Rossouw is on target with a right uppercut.  
Rossouw is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rossouw drives a right hook into Patosi's ribs.  
Patosi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Rossouw advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Rossouw is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Rossouw lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rossouw throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Rossouw holds on to his opponent.  Rossouw leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Rossouw's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Rossouw has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
