Laken Govender vs Manu Appiah

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Nasrec Indoor Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 29/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Laken Govender (6 - 0) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Manu Appiah(2 - 0) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Both Govender and Appiah weighed in at 147 pounds.
