Diego Nogales vs Mel Hosack

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Palacio Contador, Montevideo,  taking place on 04/03/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Nogales (13(5) - 0) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Mel Hosack(11 - 0 - 2) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Both Nogales and Hosack weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neron Archibeque, and the three ringside judges are Montego Civil, Carlos Jiminez and Javier Casto.
