Robert De Jongh vs Asavela Motupa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Tembisa Hlatshwayo, Tembisa,  taking place on 31/12/2027:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert De Jongh (8 - 16(1) - 4) who hails from Germiston, South Africa and Asavela Motupa(13 - 7 - 2) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both De Jongh and Motupa weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Van Jaarsveld, and the three ringside judges are Voshon Adams, Peter Mbalula and Amon Makwetla.
