Eduardo Matute vs Eloy Vegas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Bayamon promoted show at Bayamon Gomez, Bayamon,  taking place on 27/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Bayamon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eduardo Matute (12 - 5 - 1) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Eloy Vegas(7 - 6) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Matute weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Vegas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Venacio Toscano, and the three ringside judges are Ulises Fabela, Alano Exposito and Guido Bonilla.
