Joo-ho Yon vs Chang-hoon Yi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-Daegu promoted show at Ayang Outdoor Hall, Daegu,  taking place on 31/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joo-ho Yon (18(1) - 2) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Chang-hoon Yi(16 - 6 - 2) from Namyangju, South Korea.  Both Yon and Yi weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keun-ho Kee, and the three ringside judges are Jin-su Nahm, Tae-hwi Kwok and Min-hyeok Ha.  

Round 1: 

Yon gets on the inside and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Yon pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Yi throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Yon.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
