Quiqui Terrazas vs Hernan Baeza

Boxing Daily Report from the Millonarios promoted show at Santa Cruz de la Sie Valeriano, Santa Cruz de la Sierra,  taking place on 06/02/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quiqui Terrazas (8(4) - 0) who hails from La Paz, Bolivia and Hernan Baeza(6 - 7 - 3) from Oruro, Bolivia.  Terrazas weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Baeza weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neron Clavel, and the three ringside judges are Angel Morejon, Dario Geronimo and Larenzo Cordova.  

Round 1: 

Terrazas pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Terrazas lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Terrazas voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Baeza accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Terrazas.

Terrazas closes the distance.  Baeza pivots to the left of his opponent.  Terrazas lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Terrazas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Terrazas ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Terrazas pushes his forearm into Baeza's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Baeza sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Terrazas lands two straights followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Terrazas is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Baeza throws a right hook, but Terrazas clinches his opponent.  Terrazas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Terrazas pushes his forearm into Baeza's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Terrazas.  
Terrazas lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Baeza gets on the inside.  Terrazas digs in a left hook to Baeza's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Terrazas's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Baeza's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Baeza's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Baeza's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Baeza is starting to lose his head here!   He turns Terrazas and throws an uppercut into his opponents groin area!  The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.  
Terrazas lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Terrazas steps inside and lands a sharp left hook.  
Terrazas lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Terrazas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Frustration is starting to boil over for Baeza now.   He steps inside, but then strikes Terrazas with a blatant low blow!  The ref halts the action and sends Terrazas to the neutral corner.    He tells Baeza to stop fouling or face a points deduction.  
Baeza closes the distance.  Terrazas drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Terrazas is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Terrazas lands a cross, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS BAEZA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Baeza cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Terrazas!
