Ian Heird vs Michael Thrift

Boxing Daily Report from the Simwala Promotions promoted show at Eugene Cleghorn, Eugene,  taking place on 31/01/2028:

Clearly Simwala Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Heird (14 - 3) who hails from Portland, USA and Michael Thrift(6 - 0) from Portland, USA.  Heird weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces, while Thrift weighed in at 199 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Mijares, and the three ringside judges are Brett Edmison, Gregor Riach and William Terrace.
